2009 Top of Texas Safety Summit

Monday, May 18, 2009 - Amarillo College, Amarillo, TX

Presented by the Panhandle Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers and Amarillo College and sponsored by B&W Pantex, Bell Helicopter and Xcel Energy.

Conference Objective
Provide a forum with broad-based safety and health topical presentations, vendor exhibits, and networking opportunities. During these diffcult economic times, we understand that many companies are cutting back on travel-related training. We believe that this local conference will help fill that gap at very reasonable price.

Who Should Attend
Safety & Health Professionals, HR Professionals, Maintenance Supervisors & Workers, Safety Committee Members, and anyone who would like to broaden their safety & health
knowledge.

Exhibition
Local vendors who provide safety-related products and services will have booths set-up in the Exhibit Hall during the breaks and lunch.

Lunch & Refreshments
Lunch will be catered by Buns Over Texas. Refreshments will also be available during registration and the morning & afternoon breaks. Costs included in your registration fee!!!

CEU’s
At the end of the conference, you will receive an Amarillo College certificate with 0.7 CEU’s that can be used for maintenance points for most safety-related certifications. An additional 0.8 CEU’s will be awarded to those who attend the Post-Summit seminar on May 19, 2009.

Post-Summit Seminar
Fundamentals of Human Performance Improvement presented by Kimbel Leffew, B&W Pantex HPI Program Coordinator. This course is limited to the first 25 registrants.

Human Performance Improvement will help enhance safety, quality, and performance to
achieve operational excellence.
