New LeadershipI am excited to assume the office of President and hope to continue to bring our chapter to new heights with membership and meeting attendance. Our chapter had a busy year in 2009-2010. Both last fall and this spring we sponsored the Medication Cleanout Event with TTUHSC School of Pharmacy and the Poison Control Center. To begin 2010, we revived an old tradition of gifting a car seat to the second baby born in the New Year. Our new parents were very excited and glad to receive the gift. Our chapter had several good technical speakers offering training on a variety of topics for our members. I look forward to meeting you throughout the year at meetings and if there is anything we can do to assist you with your membership, please feel free to ask. Our goal is to provide interesting technical presentations when avail-able, to conduct the business of the chapter in an open and cooperative atmosphere, and to encourage fellowship among members.
